Years ago, I worked for a company that performed mammograms. I really enjoyed and loved working for this particular facility. They sincerely demonstrated loving care and kindness for each woman that came through there for their exams.
After a woman would complete her mammogram and come to check out, we would present her with a beautiful single rose. Not one woman ever turned it down and it would always put a huge smile on the woman’s face.
In fact, there were even a few women that were so overjoyed that they shed some tears. Those precious women would go on to share that they had never received flowers from anyone before in their whole life! WOW! Some of these women were over 60 years of age and had never been given even a single flower. That was absolutely heartbreaking yet at the same time I felt incredibly blessed to be the one to present them with such a simple gift. It really would make their day and mine too!
There was this one day I was working, and a small desire arose in my heart. As I handed woman after woman their rose, I thought about how nice it would be for me to receive one from someone too. I happened to be a single mom at the time and hadn’t received flowers for many years. It was a very simple thought, and then I continued about my day.
I had been praying to God for friends, family, and others as I worked. This particular day, inside my heart, I asked God a quick and simple prayer for myself. I asked if He would show His love for me and what I meant to Him in a unique way. That was it and boy did He ever do it! (Doing a little praise & thanksgiving dance here… hahaha)
Not long after that short and simple heart’s prayer, a woman walked inside the office and she handed me this little pamphlet with a beautiful pink rose on it! The front read, “You’re Special” and I nearly cried right then and there! I seriously couldn’t believe my eyes! I had literally asked God one of the simplest of prayers and He already had His reply headed on its way to me. Not only that but I realized that He had heard my thoughts earlier about my desire to receive a rose and He literally sent me one. A rose that I could keep with a little love note included too.
15 years later, I still have that little pamphlet. I actually came across it while I was organizing some of my belongings. It made my heart and spirit smile when I saw it and remembered that day. I was in awe then and I am in awe now even as I type this out to share with you, my reader.
I knew I had to share my short story about the rose with YOU! Why you? Because YOU ARE SO VERY SPECIAL to GOD! Read that again. Close your eyes and hear your Father speaking to your heart.
I believe in my heart that you came across this post so you could receive your rose from GOD and know how very special you are to HIM.
Maybe, just maybe, you are even hearing this for the first time ever. Perhaps like those women receiving their first flower ever in their life. Receive this gift from God my friend.

God loves you so very much. You were created on purpose, for His purpose. There is no one like you in all the world and this message (His message) was undoubtedly meant for you. He wants you to know you mean the world to Him and He has immeasurably more than you can even begin to imagine in store for your future. (Ephesians 3:20)
I really hope you hear what HE is saying to you right now. Don’t reject it or excuse it or pass it by.
YOU ARE SO VERY SPECIAL and SO INCREDIBLY VALUABLE TO HIM!
There is so much more to come for you in this life you have been given. This is simply a little reminder and love note from God, to let you know —> He sees you, He hears you, and He loves you.
Father God, only you know what is truly in my heart and thoughts and what I have need of. (1 Samuel 16:7, Psalm 139, Psalm 37:4) Thank you, Father, for loving me so gently, so sweetly, so individually, and in such special unique ways. I receive and cherish the precious gift of your love that never stops giving.
I love you too Father and it was because you first loved me. (1 John 4:19)
If this is your first time hearing this love message from God, then I would like you to consider that He is knocking at the door of your heart and inviting you into a deeper personal and intimate relationship with Him right now. Answer the call. You don’t need to have all the answers. You don’t have to wait to get your life in some sort of order.
God’s word tells us that He gave the world the gift of His son, Jesus, to redeem us from all our mistakes (See John 3:16). We only need believe in him and what he did for us. (See Romans 10:9-11)
So, my friend, you don’t have to try to work it all out on your own. Jesus is the answer and solution to it all. Through the sacrifice of Jesus, we now have access to our Father and all the blessings that come with that.
All you need to do is say yes to Him and He will come in and help you do the work. It is a journey. He promises to be with you and guide you through it all.

Father God, I say yes to a relationship with you today (or I renew my relationship with you today). Forgive me and wash me clean. Come in and teach me your ways. Help me know you more and also know who I am in you and through you. I want to know what I was created for, and I want to fulfill that plan. Help me to know, to experience, and to receive your love in new ways. Heal me in every area of life. Set me free from anything that is causing me to live my life in bondage and oppression such as traumas or bad experiences. Reveal to me doors that need to be closed in my life and open the right ones for me. Teach me how to forgive and love like you do. Teach me your Word and how to pray so that I can communicate with you and hear your voice with clarity. I thank you for your son, Jesus and the sacrifice that was made so that I could have a personal relationship with you and so I can experience all the blessings that you have in store for my life. Thank you for forgiving me, loving me, and for going on this journey with me. I put my trust in you today and say yes to you Father God.
In the name of your son, Christ Jesus, I pray. Amen.
